15th First Year Inauguration Ceremony

The 15th Batch of freshers were welcomed into the NSIT family in a grand inauguration ceremony on 07th Nov 2022 in the august presence of our Chairman, Er. B. Nitish Harihar, our Pro Chairman Mrs. Aishwarya Nitish, our Vice Chairman & Secretary Mr. G. Prabhakaran and Principal Dr. Munusami Viswanathan. Mr. Sundaram, Founder & Manging Director, The Salem Aeropark, Dr. R. Krishna Chetty, Chairman, Sri Vidya Mandir Association, Salem, and Mr. C.R. Natarajan, Vice Chairman, Sri Vidya Mandir Group of Institutions, Salem graced the occasion as Guests of Honour and felicitated the students on their new beginning.


Mr.R.Sundaram in his speech motivated the students to follow their passion and not to be discouraged due to their family situation. He inspired the students with many anecdotes from his personal experience. He asked the students to keep themselves updated and improve their skill sets. He said since India has the greatest youth population in the world, we will start producing for the world. He reminded the students that Gandhiji was the first Indian to have the confidence to say that we should use Indian products and avoid using imported products. His vision has grown and now our country’s export capability has grown in leaps and bounds. He also confirmed that he was eager to give our students an opportunity to do internship in his organization.


Dr.R.Krishna Chetty felicitated the students and congratulated them for joining an institution whose Founder had dedicated his life to educate the deserving students in the region. He recalled his memories with our Founder Thiru R.P. Sarathy Ayya and shared it with the students. He said that Sri Vidya Mandir Association was headed by our Founder since its inception. He asked the students to make use of the opportunities provided by the college.


Mr. C. R. Natarajan motivated the students in his speech. He congratulated the students for completing online certification courses before joining the college through Great Learning Academy. More than 2000 certificates were distributed to the students. Dr. R. Kavitha Prof. & Head, Department of Science & Humanities delivered the vote of Thanks.
