FACILITIES

  • Besides regular classes and lab sessions, the Electronics and Communication Association conducts seminars on emerging technologies regularly thereby ensuring that the students are "Industry Ready".
  • The students of this department have secured almost cent percent placement in various high profile companies. Our alumni who have gone on to distinguished careers as innovators in industry, living and working throughout the world, still have corporate and personal ties to the College through recruitment, mentoring, guest lectures, and other interactions.

The initiatives taken have already started yielding excellent results, in terms of research funding and other developmental activities thus keeping us in the path of excellence.

ELECTRONIC CIRCUITS LABORATORY

Electronic Circuits Lab has both Analog & digital Circuits which enables the students to practically realize the Circuits they have learnt in the Classrooms. The laboratory exercises are designed to build and implement analog &digital circuits and systems using simulation tools such as Multisim (SPICE) & HDL. The students are trained for constructing the circuits for mini projects using PCB board.

MICROPROCESSOR & MICROCONTROLLER LABORATORY

The Microprocessor& Micro controller Laboratory aims to provide intensive practical exposure to the students in the field of microprocessor. This laboratory helps in inculcating the knowledge of programming skills by executing various programs like arithmetic operations, code conversions, searching and sorting algorithms. In this laboratory students interface the microprocessor to various peripheral devices to generate wave forms, perform A/D and D/A conversions, Keyboard and Display Interface, Traffic Light Controller.

LINEAR INTEGRATED CIRCUITS LABORATORY

Linear Integrated Circuits laboratory provides the fundamental knowledge about IC Circuits and OP Amp ICs. Students are encouraged to design and implement circuits that can be used for their Projects and other applications.

VLSI DESIGN LABORATORY

VLSI Design Laboratory aims to impart knowledge and expertise to the students in the area of VLSI Design using Hardware Description Language and other Front End Tools. The coded design can be implemented in Hardware using the latest FPGA kits available in the Laboratory. Students are encouraged to do research in VLSI domain to enhance their skills in par with the Industry. The students enrich their knowledge by using the software tools like modalism, Logic Analyser, Mentor Graphics, xilinx, HDL Designer Pro and Cadence.

DIGITAL SIGNAL PROCESSING LABORATORY

The Digital Signal Processing Laboratory provide the practical knowledge about the signals and students are learning how the signals are processed for various applications. The students can use simulation softwares like MATLAB, CS Studio LABVIEW to design and simulate and it can be implemented using Hardware kits like MSP 430, Floating Point, and Fixed-Point Processors.

OPTICAL & MICROWAVE LABORATORY

Optical and Microwave Laboratory enables the students to explore the concepts of high speed communication by using antennas, waveguides and Microwave RF circuits. The optical Communication kits will give the idea how the light signals are transmitted very long distance without signal loss. Software Defined Radio kits enable students to learn dynamic reconfigurable setup with latest software and hardware tools available. This laboratory provides the research opportunities in Communication System through the state of the art tools and equipment.

EMBEDDED LABORATORY

Embedded Laboratory enables the students to design and implement various Embedded System Applications using Basic Microcontrollers& ARM Processor. This Laboratory enhances the Logical and Programming skills of the students in Basic Assembly Language and Embedded C Language. This Laboratory has all the modern Microcontrollers and interfacing modules which can be implemented for projects as well as experiments and tested.
