Dr.K.Vijayalakshmi, B.E, M.E, Ph.D Assistant Professor & Head / Department of Computer Science and Engineering R P Sarathy Institute of Technology

• She is an Assistant Professor & Head in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at R P SARATHY INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, Tamil Nadu, India.
• She completed her M.E. (Software Science) degree from AVS Engineering College, Salem, and was awarded her Ph.D. in Information and Communication Engineering by Anna University, Chennai, in the year 2024.
• She has more than 15 years of teaching and academic experience across reputed engineering and arts & science institutions in Tamil Nadu.
• Her areas of research and academic interest include Computer Networks, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Antenna and RF Design, Internet of Things (IoT), and Software Engineering.
• She has published 3 research papers in reputed journals including Springer, has published a patent, and has actively contributed to research and innovation activities. She has also guided several undergraduate and postgraduate student projects in emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, Mobile Application Development, Security Systems, and Data Management.
• Currently, she serves as the Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, where she is responsible for academic leadership, curriculum development, departmental administration, faculty coordination, student mentoring, quality assurance, and institutional activities such as IQAC, admissions, placements, and academic performance monitoring.
